Hi there! I'm Sarah Vander Heide, the founder of SSV Media. Eighteen years ago, I combined my love of travel, cake, and photography into a career that allows me to meet incredible people and capture their unique stories. It's been an amazing journey — and I'd love to be part of yours.

The most important part of my process is how we collaborate. From the moment we connect, I want to hear all about your project — your vision, your goals, and the final outcome you’re dreaming of. Once I have a clear understanding, I'll put together a detailed, all-inclusive pricing breakdown. No hidden fees, no surprises — just a clear path to bringing your ideas to life.

On Shoot Day:

When shoot day arrives, you can expect a smooth and fun experience. I’ll bring along professional lighting, any necessary props, and my second shooter, Michael Vander Heide. If you'd like, we can even review images live as we go using a laptop setup. Our time together will be relaxed, filled with laughs, and focused on capturing your vision perfectly.

After the session, I'll deliver your images based on your needs, complete with thoughtful edits to ensure every shot shines.
